Believe it or not my parents used to take us to Green Lake when we were small and here I am 20 years later taking my girl to the same lake for some camping fun. Talk about full circle.
I feel a bit spoiled getting to see my 'Hart' girls two weekends in a row. There are times I wish I was back in PG... those girls are truly irreplaceable and now they have little ones that I'd like to play auntie to (and like Saige all 4 are spitting images of their daddies).
The Kovacevic's - Gavin & Carson (I hope I got that right)
This is what we were greeted with when we pulled up at 8:00pm... can it get any cuter? I think not.
The first morning was kind of early (hence the photo of Trev mid-yawn). Waffles and camping have become a Knol family tradition... too bad Saige's appetite was less than stellar.
Amy wasn't the only one who wanted Carolans Irish Cream in her morning coffee.
There was a BOB stroller convention at the beach.
The water was opposite of warm, Carter and his bat refused to go in - doesn't he look like he's straight from Dr. Seuss's Whoville? He's so adorable especially when calls his mom by her first name (ie. "Amy get it peas"... ridiculous).
How is this girl still single? EVERYONE loves Auntie Heather, who drove all the way up from Van for just one night to see the kids and play Santa. HP is seriously the best, her high school students are so lucky to have her as a teacher/object of stalking. Trev actually commented on the drive home, "I don't know why Heather wouldn't want to teach Elementary she's so good with kids, she's really animated" hahahaha!
Speaking of animated.
A lovely family photo except for the fact that Trev's in the background and Anthony's wife is Jess not Amy.
Ah yes Jess who seems to be a talented photo avoider - I have maybe 2 pictures of her out of my 500 photos - it's a good thing we needed evidence of her moldy buns.
Her adorable twins couldn't evade my camera lens - the boys have an outie belly button just like Saige and Gavin couldn't resist playing with his.
We all headed down to the lake one last time before taking off on Sunday (except for Heather who snuck away while we slept).
I love these shots of Anth and his boys - they really are just mini versions of him.
That's how real men enter a lake.
Saige & her boys... xoxo
I was a little worried they'd all be leaving with battle wounds but Saige was surprisingly nice - there was some minor hair pulling and I guess she bit Carter on the sly (she didn't know he could talk)... he still gave her kisses though so it was water under the bridge.
SOME FAMILY SHOTS - I should mention this was our last day of camping so we weren't at our picture taking best.
